Spring time equinox

Spring time has arrived to take away the chilliness that winter makes people go through. The first day of the season is known as the vernal equinox and it states the harmony of the Sun on the Equator. The warm temperatures are only for the Northern countries, while the other half goes into autumn.

Spring happenings

The vernal equinox is the day that is equally divided in 12 hours of daylight and other 12 of night time. During spring, certain flowers and plants are more likely to grow. The Jewel weeds are commonly known for spreading their seeds during this season. The plant can be used in the treatment for rashes.

Another spring curiosity is the formation of vernal pools. Because of the low temperatures from winter, the ice that was formed from rain and snow turns into a temporary pool during spring. It’s temporary because when summer comes, the temperature is too high and the water evaporates.

Astrological importance

Besides spring’s influence on terrestrial changes that come with the movement of the Earth, the change of the seasons also interferes on the astrological plans. The beginning of the astrological year is marked when this season starts, for it is when Aries rises.

Since the astronomical community announced in the beginning of the year that there’s a new sign on the astrological plan, this notion is only acceptable for those who haven’t embraced the new sign. This new existence changes the order in the signs appearance, which caused the change in the dates that were known for each sign.
