Paul Ryan Presents Economical Proposal

After going through an economical crisis which left the north-American people in desperate conditions, such as job losses and real estate emergencies, until today politicians and economical representatives try to work out plans that will put America back on its feet. As the crisis burst during Obama’s government, some political issues have to be taken in consideration when new proposals are published.

Economical background

A politician that has recently presented an option to revert the economical situation in America is the Republican representative for Wisconsin, Paul Ryan. The Republican works with economical situations since graduated from Miami University. His plan proposes to cut over $6.2 trillion on the budget deficit and reduce it by $4.4 trillion.

The economist’s first job in the political environment was in 1992, next to Senator Bob Kasten. As Paul Ryan represents the political party which is the main opposition to the government in charge, the proposition he makes to try and solve the financial issues will definitely concern the Democrats.

Opposite views

The main criticisms made by both sides on how the American economy could get better are about the public health care system Medicaid. On one hand, the Democrats, under Barack Obama’s leadership, signed a plan which gives a large amount of resources to the health plan, which most benefits the elderly.

On the other side, Ryan proposes to cut expenses on the Medicaid plan. That is why Democrats are against his plan, since it would harm the ones who need the system for medical treatment. On a news conference, Ryan said “Our goal here is to leave our children and our grandchildren with a debt-free nation. Our budget is our plan to take on this country’s greatest problems.”
