May 21st doomsday to be confirmed
Since the perpetuation of the Bible itself, one of the most talked about topics when people start to think about what can happen next is the end of the world. The Bible brings the subject as the judgment day, when Jesus will finally take his sons with him and evaluate how each one has led their life as individuals. However, the Bible does not make clear the date when this will happen.
Expectations Over Possible Doomsday
As several fanatics and scientists have tried to find out when and if the world will end, there are various possibilities of dates when it will happen. One of them is the next in line: May 21. The date is also known as Doomsday, for its part as the end of the world. Even though it is set for this month, the specific date is only the beginning of the end.
The information comes from the Christian fundamentalist network leader, Harold Camping, who is 89 years old. The network for which he takes responsibility is the Family Radio Worldwide. The problem with the credibility of this information is that Camping had already predicted Doomsday to be in 1994. After the world just continued going on in the same way, the Christian believer said that he had found his error and that it was set for May 21, 2011.
Reactions Over A Possible Doomsday
Those who do not believe entirely, but would rather not confront the possibility of actually going through an end of the world have been preparing for the possible devastation. One example is actor Ashton Kutcher, who is known for having U$4,000 on emergency items for him and his family. Among the merchandise, Kutcher would have acquired blankets, flashlights, ready-to-eat food, and others.
On the other hand, a normal citizen has used up all of his life savings to publicize the date of Doomsday. The total amount of his expenses came up to U$ 140,000, which resulted in 1,000 pamphlets. The message printed was “Global Earthquake: The Greatest Ever! Judgment Day. May 21, 2011.” The citizen is Robert Fitzpatrick, who today is 60 years old.
