Lion King 3D premieres on theaters
Families that already have about three or four generations can share yet another moment together: The Lion King’s 3D movie release. For those who have kids around the 20’s, or about to be, must remember that for some of them, Lion King was the first movie they saw on the big screens. Now, those who would love to remember the story or take the new infants to a day at the movies can watch the 3D version, out at the cinemas on September 16, Friday.
Magical Experience
To make the experience of a re-masterized Lion King the best as possible, some tips are given by those who already saw the latest version of the favorite Disney film of all times. According to Disney, the Lion King is the “best-selling home entertainment movie of all time”, so it is O.K. to believe that theaters will be full again with nostalgic people in need to share more special moments with Simba and his friends.
This time, however, viewers can share the animal kingdom by experiencing what it would be like to be part of their home and environment, as that is what the 3D is all about. So, if an excuse is needed to justify the expense with a movie that is already sitting on your tape shelves and has been seen several times, remember that this might be an entirely new discovery.
Those Against
On the other hand, there are those who believe that a 3D version for the Lion King is a complete waste of money. Contrary to Disney fanatics, people who are more of an ‘old school’ tendency argue that some films are supposed to be 3D, while others are just as fine being normal and traditional movies. Another difference is that kids, the original main public for the production, cannot stand more than one hour wearing the glasses.
Besides that, regular movie customers say that the fact that they do not have a choice anymore, between the 3D movie and a regular film, is what makes them fell less annoyed about paying for the only possibility. So, if someone has the Lion King in their personal archive, why should they be obliged to pay more for the 3D version? Either way, the choice is more personal than ever when the subject is about a Lion King revival.
