Kristin Cavallari Engaged To NFL Quarterback
An opportunity that sometimes comes by regular people and that provides the tools to make their way into fame is the participation in reality shows programs. One example is Kristin Cavallari, who was part of the cast of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills, which took place in California and Los Angeles, respectively.
Kristin Cavallari’s Background
After participating in both shows, and considering that her first appearance was while she was still in high school, Cavallari started to date NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. During Laguna Beach, Cavallari was in a relationship with Stephen Colleti, which lasted until 2004. The romance was another reason to spice up the reality show, as she and her co-star Lauren Conrad, would dispute his attention.
Once the Orange County series had finished with three successful seasons focused on teenagers’ lives, a spin-off was produced after the show in 2010, which was known as The Hills. Cavallari also participated in this second reality show, but only during seasons five and six. The program has a total of six seasons and, apart from Cavallari, other six protagonists.
The Proposal
With the popularity that a reality show provides and a different social circle to be a part off, Cavallari started dating the NFL player in 2010. Even though the couple has been officially in a relationship for what is considered a short amount of time, Cutler proposed to Cavallari on the weekend of April 23. They were on a trip to Cabo, Mexico, when Cutler decided to propose. After eight months of romance, Cavallari could not avoid saying ‘yes’ to the quarterback.
In January of this year when Cavallari made a statement about her relationship with Cutler, she said “Things are really good. I’m just enjoying my personal life and taking a little time away from the public eye, which is why Chicago is great for me. My mom and that whole side of the family are there. And Jay is there. It’s nice to be able to hang out with my mom, and, you know, I’m in love and it’s been great.”
