While some people make it to the top by exercising artistic talents, such as music or acting, others manage to become celebrities just because they have an eccentric personality. The woman baptized as Katherine von Drachenberg, mostly known as Kat Von D, gained her popularity for being a well-known tattooist and by being herself a tattoo addict.

Beginning of Tattooist Career

The passion for tattooing herself started at the age of 14, when Kat Von D first inked her body with the letter J, which most probably was to honor a past love. After that, the tattooist got her first job in the tattoo industry when she was 16 years old at the store Sin City Tattoo. From that moment on she began to be recognized and was invited to work for True Tattoo.

The second store where she worked at is located in Los Angeles, Hollywood. As she got to know new people, it was at True Tattoo that she met her first husband Oliver Peck, also a tattooist. As he already had his own tattoo store, eventually she went to his business and began to work with him.

New Romance

Today, Kat Von D is engaged to Jesse James, who used to be married to Sandra Bullock. James is in the middle of a complicated situation with his ex-wife, as she does not allow him to see the son who they were about to adopt when still a couple. After they officially got a divorce, Bullock managed to conclude the adoption as a single parent.

About his relationship with Kat Von D, James said that he is in a different place with her. “She’s like 100 percent the first woman that I’ve ever trusted … 100 percent, I’ve met my match with her,” said James. The new couple is planning to get married in the summer this year. James also said that he is tired of thinking about Bullock when making his decisions and that he has reached the moment to move on.
