Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Has Second Season Aired
The TV series production has been taking into consideration all sorts of subjects when the studios decide to run a new show. Even if the idea is to make a fictional program, the script, storyline, directors, and everything else involved, is taken into consideration before a studio and a network decide to embrace the new project.
From the kitchen to the television
A style of TV shows that has been attracting attention from all sorts of producers is the reality show. As gastronomy suddenly became interesting to the general public, programs that show how to cook, different recipes and great chefs are some of the most popular today. A specific cook who managed to succeed in the TV service is the British Jamie Oliver, with his Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.
The way of knowing if a TV series is running on the right track is when the show gets another season to keep filming. Jamie Oliver managed to score with the release of the second season of his show. On the first season, which was aired on March 2010, Jamie Oliver focused on the city of Huntington, West Virginia, as it is considered the one with unhealthiest eating habits.
Second round of gastronomical education
On the second season Jamie Oliver is going to work with the Los Angeles community. Even more specifically, the chef started off by trying to negotiate with the Los Angeles Unified School District to have access to the schools kitchens and contact with parents and students. As he already had his request denied, Jamie Oliver decided to open a kitchen as an alternative to teach parents and kids how to make a healthier lunch.
While working with schools, Jamie Oliver also planned to study LA’s fast food options. Once the chef got in contact with the main food chains in the city, the companies already denied him the possibility to work with them during the show. Only an independent food chain allowed him to film, but they already said that Jamie’s changes would be too expensive to the business.
