Diablo III beta release date getting closer each day
For those who enjoy spending time with exciting computer games, August is the month they’ve been waiting for. As far as Blizzard’s Diablo III is concerned, information about the beta version which is supposed to be released this month should be publicized today (01). The company arranged a conference at the end on the month of July to share developments on the beta Diablo III, so fresh news are being spread among curious fans.
Virtual Personality
According to the technical game designer at Blizzard, Wyatt Cheng, one of the differences in Diablo III is that it “is a game about customization”. In that sense, Cheng explains that “It’s about making interesting choices about the hero you want to be. We don’t want every Barbarian to be the same. Just because I picked to play a Barbarian, that doesn’t define me. I can be an aggressive Barbarian, I can be a dual-wielder, I can put on my shield and take less damage.”
Even though it is produced to function according to certain logic, each player has the freedom of deciding which traits will make his character be different from others. This allows players to feel a more personal experience with the heroes created by them and the entire game-play is about successful combinations resulting from one’s creativity and logical thoughts.
Beta Importance
Up to now, the expectation over Diablo III news is only regarding what can be different in the beta version. Having that considered, even when the beta is released, that means the game is still under development and other points can be worked on to improve the game or finalize an idea included in the original project.
At first, Blizzard had announced that the first beta version would be released in the third quarter of 2011, but the company is well-known for its delays on due-dates. If they manage to keep their word, the release date for Diablo III might be this month. Blizzard uses beta versions in order to allow players to send feedback and test the product as it is.
