Dancing with the stars winner defined on tuesday, 24
A series that has achieved enough success and popularity to keep on going from its first season, in 2005, until the 12th, which finished on Tuesday, 24, is Dancing With the Stars production. With so many winners, who started off as just contestants, the show was able to confirm a tendency about what kind of participant usually goes better than others.
And The Trophy Goes To…
The winner of the 12th season is one more to make part of the group of athletes that has been achieving the number one spot already for the sixth time. Hines Ward is a Pittsburgh Steelers and won the finale together with his dance partner, Kym Johnson. Besides playing professionally for the team, Ward has already won a Super Bowl trophy and once was the most valuable player in the same championship.
About taking home a very shiny and mirrorball trophy for the Dancing With the Stars conquest, Ward said “It’s special. With football, it takes all 53 guys. With this mirrorball, it was just Kym and I together in the studio putting in the hours. I’m just glad I didn’t let her down.” His hard work was noticed during all of the 10 weeks when the show took place.
Secondary Happenings On DWT Finale
One of the judges who participated in the season finale, Len Goodman, talked about his performance “We’ve had some great footballers on `Dancing With the Stars,’ but I don’t think any compares with Hines Ward.” Together with Ward, other two actresses were on the run for the best dancer title. Kirstie Alley ended up in second and Chelsea Kane in third.
However, the competition was not only about fun or satisfaction for achieving a positive result. Two weeks before the final presentations, Ward’s partner had a serious neck injury. As Johnson had to go through a mild recovery before getting back on track, their hard work was even more evident as they were scored with the highest possible.
