Captain America

One of the strongest cultural industries that own a good part of the market is the production of movies. Several studios manage to co-exist and present a new motion picture that might earn billions of dollars. Some of the inspirational themes that are the favorites from today are comic books, book-based stories and science-fiction. The latest news is the recent full-length trailer of Captain America, which will be in theatres this year.

The film’s origin

The newest production to be launched is Captain America: The First Avenger. The story is based on the comic about the super-hero who was a regular soldier, Steve Rogers, enlisted to fight in World War II and had to go through a scientific experiment.

At first, Rogers was not accepted to be part of the American army, but he put himself available for anything that would allow him to join. That is when the experiment comes in, as a strategy to make him invincible. The idea was to create a super soldier army, but the scientist in charge was murdered and only Rogers was transformed.

About the film

The movie is set to be launched on July 22 in the options of 3D or 2D. Up to now, the cast that has been confirmed is Chris Evans, as the lead role, Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving.

When interviewed about his character, Chris Evans said “He’s 5-foot-nothing. He’s 110 pounds. He’s got a lot of ailments, but it hasn’t made him bitter or jaded or anything. Even after he’s given this great gift, he still continues to do the right thing, not to prove anything to anyone other than himself. He just has this great moral code.”
