Ashton Kutcher replaces Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men
After almost eight complete seasons, TV series Two And A Half Men had the production of its episodes interrupted because of the decision made by Warner Bros Studios and Chuck Lorre, the show’s producer, to fire the main star Charlie Sheen. In March, Sheen decided to make public statements offending Lorre and also publicly showed his alcohol and drugs dependence.
The Definite Name To Replace Sheen’s
As the show is one of the most successful produced by the company, if not the most, the big question that was left with Sheen’s firing was: what is going to happen now? The studios were already talking about continuing the show and creating plans to replace Sheen’s character. So, after a couple of months and several rumors, it has finally been officially announced who the new member in cast will be.
Although there were many names being quoted to replace Sheen, the chosen one by the producers and the Studios was Ashton Kutcher. The new member of Two And A Half Men is 33 years old and began his acting career in television, on the series That 70’s Show. After accomplishing the acknowledgment from professionals of the entertainment business, Kutcher began to take roles in movies and even produced material himself.
Twitter As Main Tool For Comments
Now that there is an official name to take over Sheen’s spot on the show, the expectations are around Sheen’s reaction and if Kutcher will manage to keep the series’ success with the new role created for him. Kutcher’s only expression about the confirmation on his twitter profile was: “What’s the square root of 6.25?” People expect Sheen to answer on the same platform.
Besides the opinions of Sheen and Kutcher, other Hollywood stars have already given their own points of view on the matter. An example is from the How I Met Your Mother actor, Neil Patrick Harris, who tweeted “Ashton’s replacing Charlie? Good times! CBS shindigs just got much easier on the eyes…” At the same time, comedian Mo Rocca also tweeted “Ashton Kutcher to replace Charlie Sheen. Demi Moore to replace Holland Taylor. I’m gonna start watching!”
