Ali Fedotowski is yet again a Bachelorette

One of the most popular television reality shows, “The Bachelorette”, is expected to give its participants the chance of meeting someone new and having a long-lasting relationship. However, that is not how the fairy tale ended for Ali Fedotowski, the bachelorette from season six that chose Roberto Martinez on the last episode. It has been officially announced that the couple is now apart.

Televised Breakup

The couple’s rep. sent out an official announcement saying “Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.” Already this year, during the month of October, Ali had to go against rumors which said the couple was on a rocky spot of their relationship.

During an interview, Ali explained that “we didn’t meet in the most traditional way. We had a very short courtship and we only knew each other nine weeks before we got engaged. We are still figuring out our lives as individuals. We’re still engaged, we’re still living together.” Whether it was just an attempt to avoid unwanted comments, it is now proven that they are no longer a couple.

Possible Reasons

Once they left “The Bachelorette”, former viewers noticed that the schedule for the wedding kept being postponed. While Ali explained that the reason for that was a bad kickboxing injury, friends of the couple who did not want to be identified said that they were going through a lot more trouble than that.

“Their relationship has been tumultuous since day one. They’re either extremely happy or can’t stand each other. They bring out the worst in each other. Ali was in tears … she’s miserable in the relationship and he is too,” said a mutual friend. Part of the problems would have been the long hours that both of them have to go through at work. Whatever the motives were, now the expectation is of a possible reconciliation or not.
